Shredlights!

Seeing a news article about Shredlights was exciting! Lights for skateboards. Be seen, avoid cracks in the road, and look cool at night.

I was a part-time mentor at San Diego State University's Zahn Innovation center in 2015. I loved every minute of it.

One of the entrepreneurial teams I worked with was Shredlights. They had developed headlight for skateboards. The product was early in its life, but largely finished and almost ready to sell. They missed their Kickstarter target, but learnt from it. They listed to their customers and improved the product. They networked and good reports about their products spread by word of mouth.

I'm pleased to say that they are doing well and have done a tremendous job growing sales. They are constantly evolving and growing. A classic case of determination, grit and understanding the customer. Congratulations Shredlight!
